Aurier receives documentation, transfer go go go

The transfer of PSG right-back Serge Aurier to Tottenham Hotspur has moved a step closer. He has now received the documentation for the lifting of his jail sentence after he hit a policeman outside a nightclub and used foul language, the naughty boy.

[Info Paris U] received this Friday the document to obtain the lifting of his inadmissibility.

He now has to return the paperwork and the move can be finalised. Manchester United have in fact offered more money than Spurs for his signature, but Antero Henrique, the sporting director of Paris Saint-Germain and the heirarchy the French club, have been pushing the Spurs transfer. There is no doubt this has helped us sign the 24-year-old (25 in December) Ivory Coast international.

Aurier chose Man U, but he is ending up coming to join Mauricio Pochettino rather than Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford or indeed Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, Antonio Conte, who also wanted him at Chelsea or Arsene Wenger who tried to sign him for Arsenal.

PSG it seems wnat a good relationship with Tottenham, presumably because they see we could be a good source of players in the future. It isn't just the Spanish who are casting envious eye over Dele Alli and Harry Kane or the like of Toby Alderweireld, who will sign a new contract after the transfer window closes or French international goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.

Aurier has already undergone a medical, but with the window running down this transfer looks set to be completed in time.

  3. Believe it when I see him holding up the shirt. Hope this gets over line bloody sharpish. I sense a Willian moment. Spurs just don't get these kind of players.
  4. Surely if it was just pending a work permit, you announce the deal subject to this as with the Sanchez deal? Will it be Chelsea, Man U or juventus who gazump this deal?
