Spurs send airline tickets for Foyth

TRANSFER TALK

Tottenham have asked about the availability of 19-year-old (20 next July) Aston Villa winger André Green, as have fellow Premier League sides Crystal Palace and Bournemouth. The England Under-19 (he has 7 international U-19 caps) right footed inverted left winger is under contract until 2019 and his outfit sponsored is Nike.

Estudiantes have already agreed the transfer of 19-year-old (20 next February) Juan Marcos Foyth to Tottenham and the central defender will travel to London today, assuming the airplane tickets Spurs are sending him arrive in time. Should they not arrive then he will travel Thursday or Friday.

Argentinian website Hoy, say the fee is £9.69 million (€10.5m - AUS$15.69m - US$12.39m) after tax (Estudiantes need €10m) so that probably amounts to the £12.01 million (€13m - AUS$19.43m - US$15.34m) reported elsewhere (El Dia).

We know little about him in the UK and it makes a change for us to successfully sign a South American youngster, given third party ownership so often gets in the way. For a scouting report that suggets he'll fit in well in England click the link and take a read.
