Spurs cool Baldé interest

It never looked likely from the outset to me, Keita Baldé wants Juventua, he told Lazio before the window opened and Lazio are simply waiting for Juventus to up their £13.83 million (€15m - AUS$22.39m - US$17.71m) bid.

Baldé is forcing the hand of Lazio by refusing all offers from other clubs even though they have bid up to £32.27 million (€35m - AUS$52.25m - US$41.32m), offers which Lazio are happy to accept.

Lazio president Claudio Lotito confirmed three previous bids for a player in the final year of his contract. Even in todays market, with only a year left these prices are too high.

“There were three formal offers, all of them I can prove with documentation. Milan would’ve given us €35m, West Ham €32m and Napoli €30m."
