Mourinho bizarrely criticizes referee for applying rules correctly

Jose Mourinho chose to clutch at straws and pretend his side should be given unjust penalties to try and win a game they lost. Clearly he has forgotten the rules of the game and that handball must be deliberate.

Mourinho bizarrely criticizes referee for applying rules correctly

It must be hand to ball or the hands in an unnatural position. For one Vertonghen's hands were in front of his chest when the ball is hammered at him from close range and for the other he has his weight rested on his arms so can't move it.

Neither under the rules of the game was a penalty but as his condones his sides diving, expecting referees to follow his own personal rule book is a bit much. I assume he would have had not complaints if Gary Cahill were sent off for deliberately kicking Harry Kane in the back when he was on the floor in front of both dugouts. They are after all the rules, but then he didn't get sent off when he should have done in a previous game for his blatant dive.

We started well, got caught on the break and then with too big a gap between the attacking three and the defensive unit they started tearing us apart. A moment of brilliance from Harry Kane, who has to be worth double that of supposed target Saido Berahino, brought us back into it. From then on our movement caused them problems.

The victory was well deserved and a sore loser got what he deserved, nothing.
