Lloris - Spurs need to score more goals
Our one world class player has consistently been honest with fans, he has admitted that some were not giving 100% last season, admitted that the mentality was wrong and needed improving.
He has consistently talked this season about becoming stronger mentally and now he has turned attention on our need to be clinical. It's something I discussed last season, pointing out that when we are 3-0 up we should be practising being clinical rather than having Adebayor drop back into midfield to pass the ball around. That merely highlights how wrong his mentality is.
Instead of the lazy finishing because it doesn't matter, being clinical at those times trains goalscorers to be clinical at all times and therefore when we need it most, such as against Manchester United. We have improved, the late goals are a testament to that but there is more to do.
Lloris has applauded the sides defence and sees improvement but highlighted winning is not enough, we need to score more often.

“We are getting better and better every game. Defensively, when you get a run of games it’s easier for everyone. We start to understand and to know what the manager wants, what he is expecting every game.
“It’s important to be strong, to not concede goals, not concede chances. But it’s not enough to win games. You need to score and to do more offensively.”
