Still plenty of rubbish being written about Saido Berahino with Liverpool said to be favourites, which means absolutely nothing.
The unrealistic press and gullible websites who rehash rather than rethink are all blindly quoting £25 million, £23.5 million and £20 million, none of which are at all realistic for a player who has scored less goals than Harry Kane.
If Berahino is worth those figures then Kane must already be a £30 million striker and he isn't. A sensible, rather than silly price, would be £10 million, tops £12 million. Anything else is simply throwing money away on hope, if you could guarantee a 20 goal a season striker then you'd pay with a clause inserted, but you can't.
