Soldado won't be moving to Sevilla

Plenty of speculation I see based on an article by Fichajes, which is a website with stories from football rumours.

Soldado won't be moving to Sevilla

The speculation is that Sevilla are interested in Roberto Soldado but then if you read the whole article you realise such a deal is highly unlikely.

The story is that Sevilla have a marksman clubs in Italy and England are looking at, Carlos Bacca. The Colombian is the wrong age at 28 to interest Daniel Levy. He has had his fingers burnt with Roberto Soldado and now it's difficult to offload him unless the club take a massive hit.  If Bacca was 24 he might be of interest but the stories suggesting he and Soldado might swap clubs has no legs.

Inter get linked with every player in the game and are linked with Bacca who the articles tells us Sevilla don't want to lose, but do appreciate a big offer might leave them no choice. The chances of Tottenham doing business with Sevilla after the Federico Fazio transfer is unlikely.

Because Soldado has failed to fire in the Premier League his value has shot down and therefore Sevilla would be interested in buying at a low price or in other words there isn't a hope of a deal being done. Tottenham refused to sell him to Italian clubs for small transfer fees, they are hardly likely to then do so to a Spanish club.

Bacca has 5 goals and 1 assist in 7 La Liga games and 10 games in total so is currently flavour of the month. Last season he scored 14 goals in 35 games with 9 assists and 21 goals in 52 games with 12 assists in total.

Tottenham remember play with one lone striker and are looking to the future so he doesn't have the years left in him to make him a viable option. He has no Premier League experience and we know the club are looking for a striker with Premier League experience. Naturally foreign websites are unaware of this but sites in the UK should be.
