No news in Madrid of any Llorente talks

Every Rom Dick and Harry are trying to tell us that Fernando Llorente is virtually a done deal for Real Madrid one the back of one inconclusive story in Italy.

In Spain, there is no news, notably no news in the countries largest readership newspaper, half of which is about sport. Marca centres around the day-to-day activities of Real Madrid so if a deal were close or being discussed they would know about it.

Llorente is Spanish and Real are looking for a striker to play the second fiddle role sitting on a bench for most of the season. Javier Hernández was playing the role last season and only played 871 La Liga minutes. Álvaro Morata performed the role the previous season and played just 555 La Liga minutes. He then moved to Juventus and Fernando Llorente has been talked about previously as going the other way to take over the role.

ESPN rate the chances of it happening at no more than 40% and while there is nothing from Marca about the story I'm inclined to believe there is little to it. Tentative enquiries may be being made, but serious discussions are, with the information available, unlikely to be taking place at the moment. As for Real Madrid themselves they have always denied any talk of discussions with Llorente.
