As readers know, the agents of Moussa Sissoko have had meeting with Tottenham Hotspur officials to try and agree an exit strategy for the Frenchman that suits all parties.
The deal we bought him on was simple, pay an upfront fee and an additional fee for every season he remains at the club, NOT an instalment fee. As ever the largest figure was reported, that being £30 million if and only if you stayed for the duration of the contract he signed.
He isn't going to stay, he has been a total flop who doesn't appear to have bought into what Mauricio Pochettino is doing and hasn't trained as we now expect players to train. Why has he been getting minutes if he isn't performing you might ask. We he is in the shop window, not for what he is doing but to remind people he is available I would suggest. He is rarely brought on where he can affect a result.
A report from France (Le10 Sport)seems to indicate that that exit strategy is going ahead with a meeting between Marseille ambassador Basile Boli believed to have held talks with Sissoko during the recent 0-0 Ligue 1 draw with Toulouse on 9 April.
It was merely preliminary talks to see if Sissoko would be interested in joining them and no doubt what sort of terms he would want.
