Man Utd Bale talk just stupid

Some stories defy belief and the herd believe what the national press write simply because they are the national press, they make a chunk of what they write up, put two and two together to create six and fashion an angled story to grab readers.

Man Utd Bale talk stupid

If you take a common sense approach, much of what they write can be seen right through, they are after all only professional writers, not professional coaches or managers. The Gareth Bale garbage was a prime example.

It is public knowledge that his dream in life, ever since he was a little child, was to play in the white of Real Madrid and he has shown the winning mentality to progress his game to get him there. That mentality is missing in many players and Spurs need to ensure the players we sign have it. When you pursue a dream, you don't just say I have achieved it I'll take a step down now, you keep reliving it each day and strive to maintain it.

Real Madrid paid a massive fee for Bale because he, according to the Real Madrid Sporting Director at the time, one Zinédine 'Zizou' Zidane, was the missing link that would win them the UEFA Champions League. As it was he won them the Copa del Rey as well, but they paid so much for him also because he is a commercial goldmine. His fee would be recouped by the revenue he generates, he earned himself £4.5-million for 1 weeks work in Asia, his pull is worldwide.

During the transfer window just closed the press were desperately trying to link Manchester United to him and even trying to suggest there was a possibility it could happen. There was never the remotest possibility and his agent Jonathan Barnett confirmed in no uncertain terms.
"It was stupid paper talk both in and out of the transfer window. He is very happy at Real Madrid and hopefully he'll spend the rest of his career there. He's loving it there."
Manchester United want to recreate an English Real Madrid, they want a Galacticos side in the Premier League, which would be commercial huge. Tottenham have aligned themselves with the NFL, targeting a still untapped and growing market for long-term commercial gains. Each club has its own strategy.

If Man U want a Galacticos side Bale would be an obvious player to target, but you need players whose heart is in it, not a De Maria type just using the club as a stepping stone before he can go elsewhere. Gareth Bale's heart is in Real Madrid, to prise him away isn't really a possibility, it'll only happen when Real Madrid decide it's time for him to leave and they have shown quite the opposite.

The seem incredibly keen to accommodate him, possibly because they see him as the successor to Ronaldo, another commercial goldmine. When you are dealing at that end of the market it is not all about football, you need the commercial figure as well, who naturally has to produce it on the pitch.

That may well be how Real Madrid see his future, but one thing is for certain, he isn't leaving until he is pushed..
