Real Madrid to target Hugo Lloris

Kicca Sport are reporting that former Tottenham and Northern Ireland striker Gerry Armstrong has written on his blog on their site that Spanish giants Real Madrid will once again raid Tottenham if they fail to land their top target.

Armstrong is a Spanish football expert who works as a football analyst and his views are not good reading for Spurs fans. He says that Real Madrid will target Hugo Lloris if they don't manage to sign David de Gea.

“If Real Madrid don’t sign De Gea, I hear they are lining up a move for Tottenham’s excellent keeper Hugo Lloris. I still think the De Gea deal can and will happen but the bosses at Real will not be panicking as they have a good backup plan.
“De Gea was always the club’s first choice but they were also keeping tabs on Lloris and Petr Cech. Obviously Cech is a non runner after moving to Arsenal, but a move for Lloris is definitely on the cards.
"Lloris was being lined up for a move to Old Trafford, but if De Gea doesn’t leave Lloris could still fulfill his dream to play Champions League football but in Spain instead.”

Manchester United have delivered a now or never challenge to Real Madrid to sign De Gea now if they are ever going to, should they fail and Real Madrid come calling for him then we will find it hard to stand in his way.
