2 UEFA Cups, 1 Cup-Winners' Cup, now bankrupt

Italian side Parma, who finished bottom of Serie A have been declared bankrupt and have now been relegated to Serie D for the start of the 2015/16 season.

The club won the UEFA Cup twice and the European Cup-Winners' Cup in 1993 but have had troubled times recently. Last season they changed hands twice and one chairman was arrested for alleged money laundering before Parma were declared insolvent.

In further alleged corruption in Italy, following the Lazio president and Serie B side Teramo being investigated, comes news that the Catania chairman, Antonino Pulvirenti has been arrested as part of a match fixing investigation.

He was arrested along with others on Tuesday for allegedly trying to fix games so Catania would avoid relegation from Serie B, which they achieved by 2 points. Deputy Chairman Pablo Cosentino and Daniele Delli Carri, the former Director of Sport were also arrested.

Corruption in FIFA, corruption in Spain, corruption in Italy, we just have the Olympic Stadium fiasco.
