The Tottenham transfer target World Cup Guide Group E

Group E

Switzerland snatched a last minute winner against Ecuador in the Group E opener in Brasilia and then France overcame a tough tackling 10 man Honduras 3-0 with the first use of goal-line technology at a World Cup Finals.

The winners of Group E play the runners-up in Group F and the runners-up in Group E play the winners of Group F expected to be Argentina. The other three teams are Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iran and Nigeria.

France are favourites to top the group and Switzerland second favourites although in my pre-tournament picks I went for Ecuador to win the group and France to come second.
