Spurs watching Brazilian potential January target Rafinha

TRANSFER TALK

Spurs, Liverpool, Inter Milan, AC Milan and Arsenal are all watching the situation of 24-year-old (25 next February) Barcelona central midfielder Rafinha Alcántara, brother of former Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago.
Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo report that the Brazilian international (he has 2 full international caps, scoring 1 goal) may be wishing to leave in January to get some first team football ahead of the World Cup in Russia next summer.

The left-footer with a contract until 2020 currently he is recovering from a knee injury, he has been out since 2 April and the suggestion is that Barcelona could look to sell him with a buy-back clause. His release clause, which is not necessarily his transfer value is set at £68.53 million (€75m - AUS$112.19m - US$89.42m).

He has played in 80 LaLiga games, however, his 4,943 minutes equates to 54.92 full games in which he has scored 12 goals and had 10 assists. Apart from central midfield he can play as an attacking midfielder or a right winger.
