Rabiot, Aurier, Janssen, Origi

TRANSFER TALK

PSG midfielder and former Tottenham target Adrien Rabiot, a player we tried to sign on a January loan a couple of years back, has taken to social media to announce the Serge Aurier to Tottenham deal virtually done, just incase anyone was in the dark or doubting it.

I see some on social media expecting another Willian. It has only happened once and yet every transfer they expect the same to happen again, how do these people manage to cross a road, they must live in fear of getting run down. Let go of the past chaps.

The Mirror are describing Vincent Janssen as a 'wantaway' striker, which has not been the case since he joined us, prsumably that is a journalist deciding he must want to leave. Certainly publicly he has said he wants to stay. he won't be leaving unlss we bring in a replacement and the papers are suggesting we are looking at a player we have previously looked at Divock Origi, now of Liverpool.

The 22-year-old (23 next April) Belgian striker wasn't even in the matchday squad for the UEFA Champions League qualifying game against Hoffenheim on Wednesday. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says Origi still has a place in the Liverpool squad, not much of one by the look of it. This does look like journalists putting two and two together at this stage.
