N'Koudou, Foyth, Spurs scouting at Valencia

TRANSFER TALK

Sky Sports Italia are suggesting that Italian Serie A side Hellas Verona are in talks to sign 22-year-old (23 next February) winger Georges-Kevin N'Koudou, who like Clinton N'jie hasn't set the world alight at Tottenham.

He admitted last season that he wasn't putting in the work on the training ground and that his attitude was wrong. The suggestion is that they want him on loan, deals which we don't normally do, but some players perhaps need regular football to develop faster, is he one?

The latest from El Dia is that documents from Tottenham arrived at Argentinan club Estudiantes yesterday. Argentinian newspaper El Dia ( a Spanish language newspaper in La Plata) say the documents have to be certified and documents exchanged so all the legal formalities are completed, then 19-year-old (20 next January) Juan Foyth can sign.

Tottenham have been busy scouting as the new seasons have started across Europe and Spanish special-interest newspaper Super Deporte, based in Valencia and the 5th highest sports circulation newspaper, report that Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Juventus and Benfica were at Valencia on Fruday.

They were playing Las Palmas, who they beat 1-0 and the paper suggests scouts were there to watch 30-year-old (31 in October) Argentinian international centre-back Ezequiel Garay.

That looks unlikely on our part given his age and the fact Valencia want £18.32 million (€20m - AUS$29.73m - US$23.5m) for him. Presumably we were there to watch someone else, but who?
