Contract signed

TRANSFER TALK

After an impressive debut when he won Man of the Match against Newcastle United in the opening fixture of the season, 20-year-old (21 next April) Kyle Walker-Peters has now signed a new contract until 2020.

"It's great to sign a new contract and commit my future to the club."

He showed every sign that he could develop into a long term solution for the right-back berth allowing us to perhaps sell one of 26-year-old (27 in September) Trippier or 24-year-old (25 in December) Aurier (assuming he arrives) in a couple of years and have a ready-made replacement.

19-year-old (20 in December) Cameron Carter-Vickers is developing and 19-year-old (20 next January) Juan Foyth is expected to arrive so we have a potential centre-back pairing there as well. 21-year-old (22 next February) Harry Winks has already made his mark, while 19-year-old (20 in December) Marcus Edwards and assuming the ITK is correct 17-year-old (18 next March) Jadon Sancho are future inverted wingers.
