Are two Spurs youngsters going out on season long loans

TRANSFER TALK

I'm hearing two of our youngsters are going out on season long loans to League Two side Exeter City this season. If there is something to this then it would happen at the end of the window when there is a loan period.

Former Tottenham legend Steve Perryman (1969-1986) is Director of Football at the Grecians and he is taking 18-year-old (19 next February) central midfielder Jack Roles and 18-year-old (19 next March) centre-back Japhet Tanganga on loan.

Cypriot Roles signed his first professional contract at Spurs in May after scoring 16 goals with a further 4 assists for the Under-18 side last season. he arrives late in the box like Dele Alli and notched an impressive tally for a midfield player.

England Under-20 international Tanganga was part of the winning 2017 Toulon Tournament squad for England. He joined Spurs as an Under-11.

Reports are emerging that Tottenham will be offering 20-year-old (21 next April) Kyle Walker-Peters a new 5-year deal after his performance in the Newcastle United game. I wonder if Mauricio Pochettino wanted to see how he would perform before making a final decision whether to bring in a right-back or not. I doubt it, but you never know.

Newcastle clearly targetted him from the start, straight from kick-off they pumped the ball out wide and he won the header. From there he went on to win the Man of the Match Award on his Premier League debut.
