TRANSFER TALK

German newspaper Sport-bild report that Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea, Everton, Liverpool and Manchester United have all been watching RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner but the 21-year-old (22 next March) German international (he has 6 full international caps scoring 3 goals) plans to stay with the Bundesliga side as they prepare to play UEFA Champions League football this season.

Manchester City officials in Turkey for talks over 19-year-old (20 next July) Başakşehir midfielder Cengiz Under and for talks about infrastructure cooperation between the two clubs.

Başakşehir Football Club President Göksel Gümüşdağ is turning down all transfer proposals.

"We have 4 proposals from the European club, we do not consider evaluating them, because we think Cengiz will wear Medipol Basaksehir form for 1-2 years and get even better output."

Croatian international playmaking midfielder Luka Modric is wanted by Italian giants Juventus and the 31-year-old (32 in September) is being followed by German giants Bayern Munich and AC Milan. Juventus are offering him more money but Zinidine Zidane wants to keep him and Real Madrid have no intention of selling him.
