Woodgate, Januzaj and Spurs linked Germans

Jonathan-Woodgate-Wembley-winner

Former England, Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Jonathan Woodgate (he scored the winner in the 2008 Carling Cup victory over Chelsea) has been appointed as the new Under-18 assistant coach at Middlesbrough, another of his former clubs.

Linked with Tottenham a couple of summers ago and once hailed as the next big thing from Belgium, 22-year-old (23 next February) Adnan Januzaj, is still on course for a move to Real Sociedad in Spain from Manchester United, once they sell a couple of players first.

People are literally blind to any news or information that doesn't suit their agenda. No wonder England is on its arse.

The first part is oh so true, a scotoma is a blind spot in the eye, selective vision in this case. Football fans suffer from it all the time. It is common amongst the anti-Levy types!

In the FIFA Confederations Cup semi-final against Mexico, Germany had six Under-23 players and we have been linked with them all:

Borussia Dortmund centre-back Matthias Ginter
Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich
Bayer Leverkusen full-back Benjamin Henrichs
Schalke midfielder Leon Goretzka
PSG attacking midfielder Julian Draxler
RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner
