How many goals are our transfer targets scoring?

We often take a look at the race for the Golden Boot in the Premier League but rarely look beyond that to see how other strikers are doing in Europe. Once again from French website Euro Top Foot is a table where they are assessed.

There are two Tottenham Hotspur players in the Top 30, Harry Kane and Dele Alli of course, who added to his total this weekend with the penalty against Southampton at White Hart lane on Sunday.

There are plenty of names we recognise there:
27-year-old Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (23 goals) has been linked but he wants to go to Real Madrid according to German reports.
23-year-old Andrea Belotti at Torino (22 goals) who reportedly is set to reject two Premier League clubs and begin negotiations with Barcelona.
24-year-old Mauro Icardi at Inter Milan (20 goals) who was the subject of many reports last summer but none at prices that made the stories look genuine.
28-year-old Anthony Modeste at Cologne (19 goals)
23-year-old Romelu Lukaku at Everton (now 21 goals after the weekend)
27-year-old Ciro Immobile at Lazio (17 goals)
25-year-old Alexandre Lacazette at Lyon (22 goals) who again has been the subject of many articles linking him with us.
21-year-old Andre Silva at Porto (15 goals)
21-year-old Timo Werner (14 goals) at newly promoted RB Leipzig, the surprise package of the Bundesliga this season who we reportedly tried to sign last summer.

Looking at that list you would rule out Modeste, Immobile and Aubameyang as being too old for our transfer policy which leaves six candidates and if it is true we will no longer deal with Jorge Mendez that rules out Andre Silva, leaving us five names of which Lacazette is the oldest.

You'll note that the rating for scoring a goal in France is lower than the other league, which means it is perceived as being easier.
