Former Crystal Palace assistant boss Keith Millen is assessing his options and will take a family holiday before he decides his next move in the industry.

Currently, the former Brentford, Watford and Bristol City centre-back is working at Tottenham Hotspur with the Under-18 side. This follows the news that former Watford defender and midfielder Kenny Jackett is also working as a coach at Spurs with the youth.

He has spoken exclusively to the Croydon Advertiser, his home town, who suggest he could be offered a quick return to the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur.

Millen left his post at Crystal Palace early in January after the arrival of disgraced former England national manager Sam Allardyce arrived at Selhurst Park. He is a friend of John McDermott, the Tottenham Hotspur head of coaching and development who was handed the responsibility of overseeing every age group at the club below first-team level bu Mauricio Pochettino.

"I am doing a little bit of work at Tottenham, just coaching with the U18s. The head of coaching there, John McDermott, I have known since my Watford days, so I spoke to him about it.
"It was just good to go over there to see the training ground and to just experience the environment of how they work.
"I have had a bit of contact with Mauricio Pochettino and the first team, just to pick their brains just a little bit and to just do a bit of coaching to get me back out on the grass."
