With news that Son Heung-min had agreed terms with Wolfsburg and was willing to move back to Germany, two more clubs have emerged as possible destinations for the South Korean, if they match Spurs valuation.

Son is another of the players that Pochettino is happy to keep and work with, but will allow to leave if the right offer comes in. Son knows his position in the squad and that he isn't a first choice starter. He'll get regular football yes, but when it comes to the big games and we want our best eleven out, he'll be on the bench.

The decision to leave will be down to him. Leicester City and Everton are the suggested two Premier League clubs who have made an enquiry for him. Bild are running a story and talk about the possibility of Wolfsburg again.

Presumably his agent is conducting all negotiations as Son Heung-min himself says he is unaware of any potential moves away from Spurs. That is normal with players from South America while negotiations are taking place, maybe it is the same for Asian players.

Bild say Wolfsburg have submitted a written bid, which is a formal bid, of £25.63-million (€30m - AUS$44.37m - US$33.54m). That will  be made up of instalment payments and performance related add-ons.

With Nacer Chadli being sold we lack experience in the wide attacking areas after Lamela and Eriksen. Josh Onomah is still learning his trade, as is potential signing Georges-Kevin N'Koudou. Neither are proven to score goals in the Premier League, neither have. It seems that at a time when we need to be strengthening our squad we are weakening it in the wide areas.

Nothing is certain until the transfer window is shut as there may be deals we don't yet know about or t=what agreements have been made. We will have to wait until we see the close of play on Wednesday.
