The reality is clubs do not agree a price with a club before talking to a player, everyone talks to each other and thus, players decide they want to leave. Corinthians want more than most clubs are willing to pay and while our press has been trying to suggest a price has been agreed, Corinthians through the Brazilian press insist no fee has been agreed.
They want him off the books and he doesn't want to play for them, there is bad blood between the two so Corinthians have no problem him seeking a move and talking to interested parties. Most of the stories generated are not because clubs have sought him out but because he has been offered to clubs across Europe and interest has generated from there.
Moussa Dembele remains favourite to sign for Spurs ahead of Berahino and two overseas players.
