Spurs: most prolific English scorers in European competition
Tottenham's first entry into European competition was in 1961/62 in the European Cup and it didn't take us long to show British clubs how to win in Europe.
We lifted the European Cup Winner Cup in 1963 and have followed that with 2 UEFA Cup victories (now UEFA Europa League) in 1972 and 1984. Other British clubs have followed in our footsteps of course.

This season we are once again in the UEFA Europa League and this is our 14th season of competition in it's various guises. We have played 130 games, winning 74, drawing 34 and losing 22. We have a positive goal difference of 155 having scored 263 goals, conceding 108.
We have only been in the UEFA Champions League once and we have to set a new record when we do!
Our leading scorers against French sides in Ruropean competition are Jimmy Greaves and Gareth Bale with two each. Of our current players Mousa Dembele and Erik Mamela have one gpal each.
Our record UEFA Cup win was 9–0 vs Keflavík (Iceland) on 28 September 1971 (aggregate 15–1, including 1–6 win away on 14 Sep 1971).
Don't think we'll be beating that record but there is a chance for goalscorers to make their mark.
