Spurs heading back to Australia July 2016

Tottenham Hotspur will be heading back to Australia next summer after our successful trip to Sydney last summer.

The Herald Sun report that Spurs have been confirmed as taking part in the International Champions Cup again sponsored by Audi. We played Real Madrid and AC Milan last year, next year we will travel to Melbourne for a July tournament. Also confirmed as taking part are four times Serie A winners on the bounce and UEFA Champions League finalists Juventus and Melbourne Victory.

It is important we are seen as a pull and are associated with Europes's elite teams, it all helps to raise our profile with the knock-on effects that has for our fanbase and marketing.

There is an article at 8.30pm GMT tonight with the figures Tottenham Hotspur submitted to the Haringey Council Planning Sub Committee to back up our application and show our expected costs (£675-750m) and increased income.

Make sure you return to THBN at 8.30pm tonight.

07.30am - Next Hurdle Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has to give formal approval
08.30am - £750-million New Stadium: The Game Changer - this is much bigger than just the number of fans we can sit inside the new stadium, way, way bigger.
10.30am - Ground question as construction date is extended - construction now extends into a second season so how does that affect us?
12.30pm - Club figures show expected revenue increases - gap to close significantly on Liverpool even under conservative estimates.

There is a further article tonight on what was a monumental evening in the history of this great club, an evening where our hopes took a stride forward thanks to the plans put in place by the apparent arch-enemy of the one track-minders, Daniel Levy.
