Kane matches Sheringham
Harry Kane leads the Premier League for shots on target and sits third in the Premier League Golden Boot race with 8 goals, Romelu Lukaku has 9 and man of the moment Jamie Vardy has 13. You could say he is the most accurate striker in the Premier League.
For a player who had a slow start to the season, due probably to a lack of rest to recharge the mind in the summer, leading the shots on target table reinforces the fact that he is the real deal. He has now scored 9 goals in his last 6 games and is the first Tottenham player to score in six consecutive matches since Teddy Sheringham in Sept-Oct 1995.
