Honda too old at 29

The international break has meant the papers need something to write about and thus Tottenham have been linked with at least half a dozen players.

The next on the list is AC Milan's Japan international midfielder Keisuke Honda. The press seem to have forgotten that we only want players under the age of 28 unless they are special. Honda does not tick the special box and is 29 (30 next June).

Reports suggest Everton will rival us for his signature in January and although his contract runs until 2017 and he wants to leave the Italians, I don't see us making a serious approach.
