Pass of the weekend: Christian Eriksen
In a sublime piece of vision and skill Christian Eriksen produced the pass of the weekend when setting Nacer Chadli away in the first-half.
For some inexplicable reason it was not shown on the Match of the Day highlights, unless I blinked and missed it.
Unfortunately the touch from Chadli was worful and just highlights my point about being clinical, behind the last defender he didn't even manage to get a shot at goal. This comment from a Liverpool fan summed it up, 'Can't think of a greater disparity between the quality of the pass vs first touch..'
The Spurs fans applauded and supported both the pass and Chadli who responded by scoring later. It may go down in Opta stats as a key pass but it should have gone down as an assist.
