Arsenal 2nd in Dirty Teams Table

The ditty teams table takes the number of fouls committed and looks at how many were bad enough to warrant a yellow card. A quick piece of maths gives us a percentage figure that shows how often a tackle is a yellow card offence.

Any team that plays possession based football have more of the ball and therefore make less tackles whereas a team having to chase the ball are naturally going to make more tackles and thus more fouls. Yellow card fouls are the more serious offence though and when you consider only 2 teams have committed less fouls than Arsenal it should when they do foul it is more likely to be a more serious offence.
