He joined Rubin Kazan, who play in the Russian Premier League, in January 2013, turning down an offer from Inter Milan to join the Russian side.

Rubin CEO Ayrat Garayev told Izvestia that while there is talk there are no official offers yet, so teams have discussed price but nothing has been put in writing.

"Sardar Azmoun is a Rubin player and has a valid contract with our club. We are waiting for his return from the Asian Cup and looking forward to having him for the remainder of the season. We have had approaches for Sardar, but I see no reason to discuss them until they become official."

Sandar himself revealed that there are unofficial offers from Arsenal and AC Milan which will be discussed on 22nd January.

"There already are solid offers coming from both Arsenal and AC Milan. Both their representatives are about to meet Rubin Kazan management next Thursday.
"I'm really happy for such clubs being interested in signing me, and playing in Premier League would be a dream coming true. But now I'm just focused on the remaining part of Russian championship."

He is young and needs to develop naturally. This season he has played 540 minutes of Russian Premier Liga football scoring 1 goal and adding 1 assist.
