Premier League to show every game LIVE

The Premier League are planning to revolutionise football viewing in the UK with deals to allow every single Premier League game to be shown live to fans throughout the world.

Premier League to show every game LIVE

At the moment it is illegal to watch games that are not officially screened in the UK but viewers simply tune into an internet stream from abroad and watch the game. Apart from your broadband supplier blocking every website there is nothing that can be done to stop it.

The Daily Mirror report a telecoms source as saying;

"There is absolutely nothing that can be done to stop fans in England watching live Premier League games via internet streams from abroad.
"At the moment, the clubs aren't earning a single penny from these viewers. There is a growing belief that the Premier League should look to cash in."

If the Premier League want to maximise revenue, and we know they do, then it makes perfect sense to open up a game to worldwide fans and earn from them. I have long said that the overseas Tottenham fan is just as important as the fan who attends White Hart Lane and increasing your fan base is vital.

The USA for instance is a relatively untapped market where we have to maximise the Tottenham name and grow our brand before others. If Google and the Premier League strike a TV deal hen the more fans a club has the more income they will get and we know money dictates whether you can win anything or not.

Such a deal is a way off but it is the future and in time it will come, there is too much money involved for it not to, income would dwarf the bumper TV money clubs get now.

It's coming and the club should be preparing for it now.
