Kaboul for striker Werner
I have previously laid out the reasons why Tottenham are not interested in any loan deals without guaranteed buy clauses at the end and explained early on that with Financial Fair Play kicking in plus the Premier League rules on wage spending from TV money, that more and more clubs will look to loan deals with Spurs looking towards swap deals.
That assessment has proved to be accurate, we have discussed several swap deals Kevin Miralles and Mateo Destro to name just two. Now we are looking to swap club captain Younes Kaboul for 18-year-old striker Timo Werner from Stuttgart, who is under contract with the Bundesliga strugglers, they sit 15th of 18, until 2018.
The Germans are interested in Kaboul and have waited until the window is near the end to try and get him at the lowest price, Tottenham have suggested the highly rated Werner in the deal. He has played 965 minutes over 16 games, equivalent to 10.72 games, scoring 3 goals and making 1 assist. While learning his trade he scores a goal every 322 minutes and in a goal ction every 241 minutes.
