How will Spurs react at Burnley
Tottenham take on Burnley in the FA Cup at 7.45pm tomorrow night up at Turf Moor. Having trounced Newcastle United in the League Cup and Chelsea in the Premier League Spurs will be in buoyant mood whichever side we put out.
Knowing which side Pocettino will pick is a tough task but for those players he does pick it may be a last chance saloon, no for all but for some. You'd expect a player like Aaron Lennon to play and want to prove he still has a future at the club with other teams sniffing around.
Will Kyle Naughton get a game or Eric Dier at centre-back, Capoue for Bentaleb, Dembele or Paulinho for Mason or Eriksen, Soldado for Kane. Whoever he picks it does not matter, the style will still be the same, it will hinge on off the ball movement, so these players have to show they can mentally cope with the demands that places on them and produce a performance.

As is becoming common Burnley like other sides created plenty of chances against us but in return we create a plenty ourselves. I have talked about how we have to learn to be clinical and the Newcastle and Chelsea games highlighted the benefit of that approach.

We seal the ball high up the field and commit players to attack thus expose ourselves to counter attacks but Burnley also like to play the long ball against us, which can catch our defense out. We gain a lot of offsides with a high line but leave ourselves exposed to a long ball game.

It could well be a tough game and it will be interesting to see how the squad players respond to the Chelsea result and whether that makes them realise they have to up their game as well.
When you are on a winning run the games can't come quick enough, it's nice to be able to look forward to games again.
