No possibility of Paulinho joining Inter

Some websites are still being conned and printing the usual rubbish without bothering to think about whether something is likely to be probable or not.

No possibility of Paulinho joining Inter

As I reported Paulinho to Inter Milan almost certainly has no legs simply because of the price they are prepared to pay, £11 million is nowhere near enough to recoup the £17.36 million we paid Corinthians for him.

That has now been confirmed by Paulinho's agent, Giuliano Bertolucci, who it has been reported is actively seeking a club in Brazil for him. He spoke to SportMediaSet who asked him about the possibility of his client joining Inter.

“Hi, I deny all the rumors regarding the interest of Inter for Paulinho, nothing is true, there is no possibility of a transfer in January, it’s just the usual voices…”

That is pretty clear cut, no possibility of a transfer in January to Inter. Back in Brazil Corinthians want a one year loan deal which is not ideal for Tottenham. Spurs would prefer to sell on loan until the end of the season with a permanent deal from the summer onwards.

Cruzeiro sporting director Alexandre Mattos spoke recently that they also want to sign Paulinho on loan until the end of the season.

“Paulinho may come in on loan, his agent is looking at Brazilian teams and his first choice will probably be Cruzeiro.”
