Spurs fans complain yet again

Fans are a strange bunch. There were a group on Twitter yesterday moaning because Levy hasn't bought anyone, by which they mean a 'name' and therefore is not backing Mauricio Pochettino. They call for Levy and ENIC to go. Complaints if Levy spends, complaints if he doesn't.

Complaints if Levy spends, complaints if he doesn't

Last summer seven players were bought and they complain the money was wasted, this summer money isn't wasted and they complain. They complain that Dawson, Sandro and Holtby have been sold oblivious to the fact that is is Pochettino who doesn't want them, not Levy deciding his head coach doesn't need them. It's irrelevant whether fans like them, if they can't do what Pochettino requires them to do then then there is no point keeping them.

The logic of some people defies belief. We are a hopeless defending team and Pochettino highlighted that as an area he wanted resolved. We have signed 4 defenders and a goalkeeper to start. Further purchases will come in future windows, we can't replace all the defenders that need replacing in one go, with injuries central defence is still a worry.

The other main area for Pochettino is moving the ball quickly from defence to the four attackers, we are still too slow at it, Benjamin Stambouli has been brought in to help there and Morgan Schneiderlin is still wanted, Southampton needed to save face though and refused to do business. We shall return for him in January I'd expect.

Pochettino has had 3 games, he hasn't even had everyone fit and available yet buy some fans are already moaning we don't look top four material, the same fans shouting for Levy and ENIC to go. WE have a new manager, a new system, he has to reshape a squad with players who can play in the manner he wants them to, yet none of that seems important, it'll all be solved by signing someone, what utter garbage.

Fair enough, these supporters have got passion for our club, they want success, but that shouldn't mean common sense and reason go out the window should it. We have always had deadwood who are tough to clear, we prune the squad, more complaints. Some people are never happy.
