Before we get into alleged FIFA corruption, from more than one official, there is further news regarding Liverpool's man eater Luis Suárez.
FIFA has re-iterated that Luis Suárez will not be allowed to train during his four-month ban for biting despite reports to the contrary.
FIFA's disciplinary chief Claudio Sulser said he could have a medical ahead of any transfer but he can not train with any club.
Suárez has appealed against the length of the ban, which should have been longer and should have involved an international ban at least until after the next World Cup. As it is he has virtually got away biting someone for the third time for nothing.
Typical of FIFA who have a tarnished reputation with bribes, one man elections and a refusal to properly investigate the alleged corruption that seems rife within the organisation.
Police in Rio de Janeiro have said a FIFA official is involved in multi-million pound ticket scandal.
Operation Jules Rimet tapped suspects mobile phones and has now seen 11 suspected ticket touts arrested. Fabio Barucke is the police investigator in charge and he said a FIFA official was the source of tickets that have been sold for up to 8 times their face value.
FIFA's head of media Delia Fischer is in the dark who the official may be.
Does she mean being an official of FIFA is a grey area? What a quite absurd statement.
Algerian Mohamadou Lamine Fofana is the suspected ringleader and he was staying at the same hotel as the FIFA's top executives, the Copacabana Palace. The official involved in the scandal had access to FIFA offices, the stadiums and match tickets.
Investigator Fabio Barucke explained that Fofana was the middleman.

Humberto Grondona, son of Argentina's senior FIFA vice-president Julio Grondona, has admitted selling on tickets to a friend contrary to FIFA's regulations.
In a job for the boys, Grondona is a technical adviser to the world governing body.
Grondona junior told Argentinian TV station TYC he spent more than 9,000 US dollars (£5,244) on 24 category one tickets for group games and knock-out matches, including a semi-final and the final, and had sold some on to a friend, but refused to name him.

Grondona junior is not the FIFA official at the heart of the multi-million pound ticket scandal uncovered by Operation Jules Rimet, revealed the police.

"The player cannot have any activity related to football, but a medical examination for a transfer yes - the sanction is not linked to transfer rights."

"I bought all of them for more than 9,000 dollars. I have a friend that is someone very well known in Argentina who wanted to come and I sold to him some of these tickets.
"He on his part gave the tickets to another friend. What they then did with the tickets I have no idea.
"I cannot tell you. But do you think I would dirty my hands for 220 dollars (£128)? The truth is that I have no idea where these tickets went to.
"We were able to identify there is the participation of someone from FIFA."
Delia Fischer, FIFA's head of media said:
"We cannot comment on ongoing investigations but anyone who has violated the regulations will be sanctioned.
"I cannot go into specific cases but we need to see the source of the original tickets and how the tickets ended up somewhere.
"Even where you have specific names you cannot always jump to conclusions. If someone is violating something then tickets can be cancelled accordingly but we need to see who is involved, which tickets they are and then we can take necessary action."
