Pritchard loaned to Brentford, VIDEO, comment

News just released that Alex Pritchard has signed a new contract until 2016 and that he'll go on loan to Brentford in the Championship next season.

Alex Pritchard loaned to Brentford

Pritchard had a hugely successful loan season at Swindon Town where he was
nominated for League One Player of the Year, won by a Brentford player in fact, Adam Forshaw. Alex Pritchard came second and was also nominated for the Football League Player of the Year award.
His season culminated in a 7 minute debut for Tottenham in the final game of the season.

There has been a break clause inserted in his season long loan contract with Brentford so the 3 capped England Under 20 player could return to Tottenham in January if needed.

Mark Warburton, Brentford FC Manager, was delighted to beat off competition to get his man.

“Alex is a player I have watched for many years.

“I have followed his career at Tottenham from a young age. He is very good tactically and technically with excellent dead ball delivery.

“He showed his quality while he was on loan at Swindon last year. Alex will add to the quality in our squad, which is taking shape nicely ahead of the start of the season.

“This deal is testament to the work of Sporting Director Frank McParland and his team over the summer. We fought off competition from a number of Championship clubs to get Alex to Griffin Park.”
