Pre-season begins - Eriksen upbeat
The pre-season tour has begun as Spurs arrived at 5.30pm local time, 1.30pm here in the UK.
For many it is the first time they have visited the States, one of those being last summer's signing Christian Eriksen. “I’ve never been to America before, so I’ve a lot to see and I’m looking forward to it. I’ve always wanted to go there, maybe on a holiday, but now I’m going with the team and I’ll see what it’s all about.”

“Everyone has been in the Premier League for a season now, everyone has shown character and shown that we can bounce back.
“We now need to go and achieve our targets for next season.”
