It's all change in the Tottenham defence
Tottenham are looking to strengthen their defence with moves for both a left-back and now a right-back.
21-year-old Serge Aurier, the Ivory Coast right-back, has expressed his desire to join Arsenal who have stalled over his purchase. Tottenham have Kyle Walker at right-back with Kyle Naughton as cover, few fans though would argue about an upgrade and someone who could push Walker to return to the level of performances that made him Young Player of the Year in 20 .
The Toulouse player was named in the Ligue 1 Team of the Year and his agent, Stephane Courbis, recently admitted talks with more than one English side had taken place.
Kyle Naughton has previously expressed his desire to play or he would have to move to get regular football. As it turned out weeks later a pelvic injury kept Walker out for the remainder of the season and only 5 outfield players played more minutes than he did.

He would not be short of suitors, Harry Redknapp would be interested in taking him to QPR and he could play for any mid-table club. His wages wouldn't be a problem for them so there would be little standing in the way of a move, unlike players like Gomes or Bentley who were happy running out their contract for the wage packet.
With Ben Davies likely to come in at left-back, a potential challenger for the right-back berth and a new centre-back or two, when Pochettino said he wanted to increase the strength of the defence he wasn't kidding.

"There is no agreement with Arsenal or anyone else. There have been discussions with Arsenal in the past, but it's been a while since there has been any talks.
"To tell you the truth, we are even talking to another English club, so there is really nothing to act upon."
