Right let's get into the Tottenham News Shorts - Issue 28, recent news which concerns Michael Dawson, Stefan de Vrij, Ashley Young, Ángel di María, Enner Valencia, Wilfried Bony, Graham Roberts and Sami Khedira.
Michael Dawson to Hull City is virtually a done deal and potential replacement, Dutchman Stefan de Vrij, will probably be leaving Feyernoord for Lazio this summer.
The 30 year-old club captain will join Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermore to give Hull a former Tottenham central trio. Dawson will join Robert Snodgrass and Tom Ince who have also joined this summer.
Ince, a former Tottenham target, was all the rage and talked about with silly sums of money, yet a loan spell at Crystal Palace in the Premier League didn't work out and he wasn't being selected by Tony Pulis. He'll be looking to put that right this year and having a wise head like Dawson to talk to will help him learn how to make that jump to the next level.
Dawson has agreed a deal in principle over a £4 million (€5.03m) move, all that is holding the deal up are his terms for release with Tottenham after 9 years of service.
Lazio sporting director Igli Tare has revealed Stefan de Vrij wants to seal a move to the Italians. De Vrij has attracted interest from across Europe while helping Holland secure third place at the World Cup in Brazil.
Aston Villa are willing to pay £7 million (€8.8m) for 29 year-old Manchester United and former England winger Ashley Young.
During the summer transfer window in 2011 Young moved to Old Trafford for an undisclosed fee. After a bright start his form declined, injury struck and he has now lost the support of the crowd. He rarely gets a start and Louis Van Gaal does not see him as part of his plans.
Manchester United had hoped to replace him with World Cup finalist Ángel di María but latest news is that they may have missed out. The 26 year-old Real Madrid winger has chosen to join PSG according to the latest reports.
Enner Valencia will have a medical before he joins West Ham United in a £12 million (€15.09m) deal. The Hammers are also signing 22 year-old Chelsea and Ghana winger Christian Atsu on a season long loan.
Valencia came to the attention of West Ham scoring for Ecuador at the World Cup in Brazil and West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has revealed the club are close to capturing the Pachuca (Mexico) forward.
Wilfried Bony has told Swansea he wants to join Liverpool, although Spurs have not given up hope of convincing him to move to White Hart Lane.
Swansea had been holding out for £25 million (€31.45m) according to reports but a deal at £19 million (€23.9m) is on the cards. Tottenham are clear second favourites in the race for the Ivorian international.
Graham Roberts was delighted to hear the news that Communities Secretary Eric Pickles had eventually agree to the Compulsory Purchase Order, tweeting the importance to the club's future.

"The ground more important than any other issue for the club today could be a very big day for our history."
Arsenal expect to complete the signing of 27 year-old German World Cup finalist Sami Khedira next week.
Wages are the only stumbling block, his £150,000 (€188,678) a week demands would make him the highest earner at Arsene Wenger's side and it's a move he prefers with Mesut Özil already there.
Chelsea and Manchester United are both interested and Real Madrid have not given up hope of convincing him to stay for another year.
If Arsenal can agree personal terms, and they expect to do so then he will join the Gunners next week in a £23 million (€28.93m) deal. Should anything go wrong then Arsenal will turn to fellow German Lars Bender.
