The end is neigh for Disco Benny and his back heel through the legs. The imminent arrival of Ben Davies is the nail in the coffin.

What Spurs could expect from Pochettino looked at his style before he signed for us so well worth catching up on now he has signed.

A make or break season for fans favourite, only kidding, Danny Rose suggests unless he makes significant improvement his long-term future is in question at Tottenham.

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has revealed he came close to selling 23 year-old striker Mario Balotelli to an unnamed Premier League club prior to the start of the World Cup. We were sniffing, Arsenal were serious so no prizes for guessing who that might have been then.

United will monitor the situation of 25 year-old Alexis Sánchez with Arsenal and Liverpool both targeting signing the Chilean forward this summer, however Sanchez is not interested.

"I’ve said in the past that I’d like to play in Spain one day, because it is a league that is good technically, and where you get a lot of touches on the ball, which is my style.

"The Premier League is maybe a bit physical at this stage. But I am a Monaco player and I’m not thinking about anything like that at the moment. I am now just concentrating on Brazil, which is going to be a wonderful experience for us."

Newcastle United manager complained the other day about the silly prices for home grown players after he was quoted £14 million for one not playing. It didn't take a genius to work out that that was 26 year-old Micah Richards at Newcastle United although the local paper for some reason took a guess at Andros Townsend.

Now the papers have learnt that it was indeed Micah Richards that was offered to them, a player who hasn't played for 2 years. Hardly surprising that we are not interested either at that price. Rather backs-up the article I wrote the other day, Manchester City Clearance & Sales Section.

The Sentinal, which I assume is a Stoke based paper, report that Mark Hughes will be judging character as well as ability as he prepares to put the finishing touches to his squad for next season. Danny Rose has got 'character' Mr Hughes!

Nottingham Forest have rejected QPR's £4 million bid for 20 year-old central defender Jamaal Lascelles. He is a player that interests many clubs, ourselves included but naturally Notts Forest want to keep hold of him.

Trying to keep hold of a Premier League player in the Championship is a lost cause for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Cardiff City. Steven Caulker is free to leave with Tottenham having first refusal on his services. QPR want him as do half the Premier League clubs.

"However much we'd like to hold onto a player like Steven, I've found myself powerless due to clauses in contracts drawn up before I arrived at the club."
