Spurs negotiating new Lloris contract

Tottenham are negotiating a new contract with Hugo Lloris, through his agents of course.

Spurs negotiating new Lloris contract

There is every chance that the man who should have been voted Player of the Year will remain at Tottenham but nothing will be decided until after the World Cup.

Lloris is quite settled in London and is not in any desperate hurry to get out, he would like Champions League football yes, but negotiations suggest he may give it another year at Spurs.

Monaco want him but their stadium, Stade Louis II has a capacity of only 18,523 which is a bit of a change from Premier League crowds. He has indicated before that he is not keen to return to French football so whilst not committing himself to Spurs he has made no noises to leave either.

PSG have been mooted as a destination but they have just paid a ridiculous £50 million fee for David Luiz who is worth less than half that. They have issues believe it or not with Financial Fair Play rules so will have to sell players and keep their wage bill in check. All of which makes signing Hugo Lloris unlikely.

His contract runs until 30 June 2016 and Cardiff City want £15 million for David Marshall, world class Lloris cost less than that!
