Livermore fee £7 million
The Hull Daily Mail report that the fee for Jake Livermore agreed with Tottenham over the weekend is £7 million (€8.77m).
Hull City boss Steve Bruce has been desperate to land Livermore on a permanent deal. He is homegrown, only 24 years-old and has formed a solid and effective partnership with fellow former Tottenham midfielder and England international Tom Huddlestone.
Bruce is expecting the rest to be a mere formality with Livermore undergoing a medical today. The players agent is currently discussing terms, but he has made it clear Livermore insists he wants to remain in East Yorkshire.
In a successful season for Hull Livermore made 41 appearances, scoring three goals as the Tigers finished 16th and reached the FA Cup final last season.

Jake Livermore is a product of the Tottenham academy whose main footballing aims are to produce professional footballers, Premier League footballers and Tottenham players.
Sales like his for £7 million (€8.77m), Steven Caulker to Cardiff City for £8 million (€10.02m), Jamie O'Hara to Wolves for £5 million (€6.26m), David Button to Charlton for £500,000 (€626,275), Adam Smith to Bournemouth for £250,000 (€313,138) and Massimo Luongo for £400,000 (€501,020) to League One Swindon Town help it to pay for itself.
It's the same method Barcelona use, the idea is that the academy is self-sufficient in it's own right.
Back in February Steve Bruce made it clear he wanted to keep Livermore and felt playing regular football each week was benefiting him.
Such has been the impact Livermore has made in East Yorkshire that Bruce made him the Spurs man his number one priority transfer target this summer.

“Jake’s had a wonderful five months here. He’s benefited his career by playing.
“We’ve given him that platform and he’s certainly grabbed it.
“We’d like to do something permanently if we possibly can.
“We knew it wasn’t going to be possible in January but it’s still the case that we’d like to bring him to the club, that hasn’t changed.
“We’ve got to stay in the division first, that’s for certain. But yes, we’re quietly confident. There’s nothing in place at the moment but we’ll be trying to get something done.
“I get the impression he’s happy here because he wants to be playing every week.
“If you’ve got something about you, like Jake has, the last thing you want to do at this stage of his career is go somewhere and not play regularly, when you’ve become used to playing week in and week out.”
