Hull want half price Dawson

Hull City are trying to get a job lot of Spurs home grown players with a £10 million offer for Jake Livermore and Michael Dawson.

Hull want half pice Dawson

It's a bit of a cheek as prior to last season Tottenham valued Livermore at £6 million and now Daniel Levy wants £8 million for him. Only £10 million would mean effectively selling the Spurs captain for £2 million.

When QPR wanted Dawson they were willing to pay £8 million and as a proven Premier League performer, a home grown player and a contract until June 2016 his value is around £7 million.

Hull boss Steve Bruce, who was a centre-half for Manchester United, wants to land Dawson with a bid of £3.5 million for the 30 year-old with the Daily Mail suggesting £10 million offer for both may be a better offer.

With West Ham, Crystal Palace, Hull City and QPR all interested in Dawson I think the Mail are wide of the mark, I can't see Daniel Levy selling him for half price, if at all.

It's been well documented that Spurs are trying to offload Vlad Chiriches with his agent saying his game is not suited to the Premier League. He is negotiating with Italians Fiorentina but Jan Vertonghen has said he is staying at Spurs.

That leaves Younes Kaboul, Michael Dawson and possibly Zeki Fryers partnering Vertonghem which looks a bit weak given Kaboul's poor form and failure to fully recover from injury.

Nothing official can happen yet though as the Summer Transfer Window for the Premier League doesn't open until June 9th.
