Bale aims for Ballon d'Or

The European Supercup takes place in Cardiff between Champions League winners Real Madrid and Europa League winners Sevilla.

Bale aims for Ballon d'Or

One player keen for the game is Welshman Gareth Bale who scored the winner in the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona and scored the goal that put Real Madrid if front in extra-time in the Champions league Final.

Those two goals are why Real Madrid paid a world record sum for him. No pre-season we have seen many times affects players early season performances and they are always playing catch up. Bale finished the season with 22 goals, including that 59 metre sprint in 7 seconds in the Copa del Rey final and 19 assists.
